Here’s how to make sure your kids eat all their Christmas dinner veggies today

Jade Hayden

It’s Christmas.

For kids, that means lots of things – getting presents and eating chocolate, mainly.

And for parents, it means picking up wrapping paper, trying to find AA batteries, and somehow managing to get the kids to eat all their vegetables at dinner.

A feat which isn’t exactly the easiest when they’ve probably spent the rest of the day surviving exclusively on selection boxes.

Never fear though, because there’s a nifty enough trick that’ll all but ensure that the little ones are getting their fair share of greens and oranges today.

It’s a tip that’ll work any day of the year too, so the kids are kicking up a fuss and saying that they don’t want to eat anymore veggies shouldn’t be an issue anymore.

… Or, they’ll continue to kick up a fuss and nothing will change but hey, at least we tried.

All you need to do is mash up their vegetables into non solid food and they’ll be far more likely to eat it.

Yes, really.

Pureeing food works like magic when it comes to children because it can easily be hidden among other foods like potatoes and meat.

Plus, it won’t look like a vegetable anymore, so there’ll be less aversion to the food before dinner has even began.

Try it anyway. You might be surprised.
