Coronation Street has a dating app and the name is just hilarious

Were you watching last night’s show?

Up until last night’s episode, we had no idea that the Weatherfield residents had their very own dating app.

Apparently, they do and the name has everyone in hysterics for it’s a little different to the norm.

WhamBam.

Never mind Tinder, Bumble and the likes because, in Coronation Street, WhamBam is how new romances start.

During last night’s show, Eva revealed the interesting fact after discovering Adam Barlow, the boyfriend she had just broken up with, with another woman.

Understandably, she was a little upset and went to the pub where she told Peter and Toyah that Adam had met someone else on “WhamBam”.

Wham Bam isn’t the only popular app on Corrie either for there was also chat about Friends Connect which we assume is something akin to Facebook.

As is the norm, people took to Twitter to share their surprise on learning about “WhamBam” and its relevance to Corrie.
