What William and Kate whispered to each other outside the hospital yesterday

“Let’s just wave over there.”

Prince William and Duchess of Cornwall Kate Middleton made a brief but very welcome appearance on the steps of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington yesterday hours after welcoming their third child.

Kate went into labour early on Monday morning and gave birth to a son just after 11am.

We were told that William was present for the birth and that both mother and baby were doing well but we weren’t sure when we’d see Kate and the new prince.

The Duchess was clearly doing very well though and delighted the crowds gathered when she and William stepped out of the door of the Lindo Wing yesterday afternoon with their bundle of joy.

The royal couple smiled and waved but said little, though they were spotted talking quietly to one another on the hospital steps.

A lip reader has revealed to The Mirror that Kate was concerned about her newborn getting chilly.

William : Are you OK with him?

Kate : Yeah.

William : Look, there he is. Over there.

KateLet’s just wave over there.

KateLook, he is there. It is a bit windy, eh? He might get cold. Let’s go now.

WilliamSure

Bless.
