EastEnders actor teases New Year’s Day wedding murder following shocking ‘horror’ scenes

Can’t they all just get along?

Christmas is over and it’s almost the New Year, which means one thing – somebody’s going to have a lavish and extremely dramatic wedding on EastEnders.

It’s tradition, like.

This year it’s going to be Mel and Ray (apparently) tying the knot on December 31 and January 1, but as with most soap weddings, it’s not going to be that chilled out of an event.

Rather, Mel is planning to expose Ray for cheating and for marrying two other women… and also for being a killer.

What a catch.

Mel has set the whole wedding up so she can show everybody what a liar her husband-to-be-but-probably-won’t-be is.

But things don’t exactly go her way once Ray gets wind of what’s going on – in fact, they go so wrong that Ray could end up with even more blood on his hands.

Actor Sean Mahon told Metro:

“He’s a dangerous person, and I think if you’re married to a dangerous person it doesn’t bode well.

“If you push a rabid dog into a corner they’re going to come at you very, very fast. So, as is the case with any decent story, if you’re going to pin him into a corner, he’s going to come out swinging.”

Grim enough sitch.

Mahon went on to say that although Mel thinks that she’s going to “win,” it’s looking likely that she won’t.

“On the wedding day, some events happen that may challenge her ability to win the day,” he said.

Cryptic.
