Exam season is upon us with many students prepped and ready for their final summer exams.
While most students will be dreading this, one class got a surprise while they were sitting their science test which turned their day around.
St Andrew’s School shared a post recently which will give you instant joy and wish you had a teacher like this in school.
The Year Six pupils thought they were about to sit their science exam until they turned to page three of the exam.
That’s right, they’re going to Chessington World of Adventures!
The Year Six teacher decided that his class had worked hard all year and rather than suffer through a final exam were instead going to go have some summer fun.
The teacher, Mr Bacon wrote on page three of the exam;
“Year 6 are going on a trip to Chessington World of Adventures today and have been tricked by Mr Bacon into thinking that they actually have a science test.
Is he A – the best teacher ever
B- the best teacher ever?”
I’ve had to sit a lot of summer exams but never had one that finished with ‘let’s go on some rollercoasters.’
It’s really lovely to see a teacher who understands the need for a break for his students and it’s a great lesson for the children that hard work leads to great rewards.
