Cooking dinner for young kids can be soul-destroying in many ways.
I mean; you slave away, chopping and mixing and trying to make sure they reach their five-a-day, and then they simply turn their nose up – or worse, throw an epic, scare-the-neighbours tantrum over the fact that you served them up something they think is YUCKY.
Ungrateful little s**ts.
Anyway, if your house is anything like my house, you’ll be delighted at some new dinner ideas that the kids will actually be excited to have. Say hello to pizza spaghetti – a combination of food made in kid heaven.
Pizza Spaghetti
Ingredients
Spaghetti (enough for however many you are serving this to)
Jar of pizza (or pasta) sauce
Mozarella
Toppings (pepperoni, ham, olives, peppers, cherry tomatoes, whatever you fancy basically)
Grated cheese for on top
Instructions
To start, boil pasta. Drain and return to the pot you boiled the noodles in–it’s the perfect size for mixing! Add in pizza sauce, mozzarella, and your favorite toppings.
Once you’re all mixed, transfer the pasta to your baking dish and top with even more cheese and toppings. Bake until the cheese is melty and the pasta is warmed through. Let it cool slightly, cut into squares and serve.
