However, a thrifty Australian mum has just come up with a hack that will most definitively help you pinch more penneys.
Yup – it might sound crazy – but this budget savvy mum claims she is saving money by cutting each dishwasher tablet in half before chucking it in the dishwasher.
And don’t worry – they still “clean just as good” @Pinkandhrifty shares on her Instagram account.
Other mums chimed into the conversation, adding they have tried the money saving hack too, and could back up her claim.
“After seeing @pinkyandthrifty say how well she found the Aldi dishwashing tablets to work even when chopped in half I decided to try it myself!” ThatOrganisedMum wrote.
“Still cleans just as well and now will last even longer.”
