Home Alone actor Devin Ratray has been accused of raping his friend.
According to reports, the actor was accused of raping his friend of 15 years, Lisa Smith.
Smith said she returned to the actor’s New York apartment after a night out in September 2017. She claimed he spiked her drink after he insisted on her drinking from a particular glass.
She said she suddenly felt exhausted and Ratray insisted on her staying over.
Smith told CNN that Ratray then raped her at his home in 2017.
She said: “I remember waking up and I couldn’t move.
“I couldn’t really open my eyes, but I could hear what was happening and I could feel what was happening. I knew that the other two people were gone and I was still on the couch.”
Ratray has not been charged in connection with the claims.
He told CNN that nothing happened.
The 45-year-old stressed, “We did not have sex.”
However, he is currently facing domestic violence charges. Last year, he reportedly assaulted his then-girlfriend at an event in Oklahoma. Ratray has denied both allegations.
He has pleaded not guilty but is due to appear in court in October.
Smith said she contacted the police about her case after hearing about the 2021 incident. She was told her case was closed because police believed she wanted to remain anonymous. However, she said she wanted to press charges in 2017.
Ratray is best known for playing Buzz McCallister in Home Alone.
