The mum-of-two said postpartum recovery has been hard for her.

Kylie Jenner has reminded new mums that it is okay not to be okay.

The mum-of-two opened up about how she has been struggling since welcoming her son Wolf.

She explained that her postpartum recovery has not gone as smoothly as many would believe.

She said her physical and mental health are taking some time to recover from the birth of her baby boy.

Kylie gave birth to Wolf on February 2nd.

Speaking about her recovery, the mum said: “Postpartum has not been easy. It’s not been easy. It’s very hard.

“This experience, for me personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter.

“It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually,” she added.

“I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that because I think we can go on the Internet and it can look a lot easier for other people, but it hasn’t been easy for me this year.

“And it’s okay not to be okay. I just keep reminding myself that I made a whole human, a beautiful healthy boy, and we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves.”

Kylie said new mums put too much pressure on themselves to jump back physically and mentally too.

Fans of Kylie have praised her for speaking so openly and honestly about her struggles.

One said, “Her talking about it to millions of people who still romanticize motherhood is so important and beautiful, she is so precious.”

Another added, “I applaud Kylie Jenner for shedding some light on such a dark topic that isn’t talked about enough.”
