Stacey Solomon has opened up on being very emotional today as she asked her followers for ‘help’ before sending her son off to ‘big school’.
The mum of five is facing the inevitable reality that our little ones have to grow up someday as she revealed that her son Rex is starting school this year.
Sharing a snap of her little one’s uniform laid out as she opened up about how Rex is “still her baby” despite heading off to “big school”.
“New level unlocked big boy school. I can’t even describe how emotional this makes me. I can’t believe in just a few days Rexy will be in big school he’s still my baby. And Leighton is off to seniors omg, send help,” Stacey said.
“I bought my first one four years ago when Rex was a baby and I finally had to upgrade to big boy.”
The idea of her son heading off to school seemed to bring up a lot of emotions for Stacey as she then shared another snap, this time one of Rex’s old baby grows.
“I’ve gone down a rabbit hole. It feels like yesterday I was putting baby grows on Rex’s stand. This was his first ever one. I can’t cope,” she wrote.
The 33-year-old has been feeling very emotional recently and has opened up to her followers about being ‘scared’ to talk about the fact she was recently home alone with her baby daughter Belle.
The TV personality admitted that she made a conscious decision not to mention that her husband, Joe Swash, was away in Spain with their older kids as well as their youngest daughter, Rose.
She explained to her 5.7 million Instagram followers that she kept this a secret for her own safety.
Joe, 41, had taken Zachary, Leighton, Rex, and Rose with him when he went to visit his mum in Spain, which is where she resides during the summer.
Although Stacey is usually an open book with her fans, she kept the trip on the down-low after fearing for her safety.
