Have you been on a family holiday this year?
If it’s over and you wish you could rewind, you can always start looking ahead to your next trip away with the clan.
Picking a holiday destination that will suit everyone in your home can be a chore. You might prefer sightseeing and sun but the kids want the beach, new friends and lots of activities.
However, a city break with a day out at a theme park will please both parents and kids. Toys, shows, rides, food and drink…there’s something for everyone.
Here are three European destinations well worth a trip.
Disneyland – Paris, France
Just a thirty five minute train journey from Paris, Disneyland is Europe’s most popular theme park.
The list of things to do there is endless with fifty-six attractions between the park and the studios, seven hotels, a golf course, a campsite, a ranch, and gorgeous gardens.
Whether you spend a few days at the park or just one, you’re sure to have a magical time.

Walibi – Brussels, Belgium
Although it’s a lot smaller than Disneyland, Walibi still has a lot to offer. It has crazy roller coasters for the thrill-seekers in your family, and plenty of attractions for the little ones.
The park is located on a huge lake. It’s only fifteen kilometres from Brussels city centre so it’s very easy to get to.
The price of day tickets are expensive enough but it’s worth a visit. Your kids will have such a good time and will be talking about it for a long time afterwards.

Legoland – Billund, Denmark
This theme park is full of action. There’s so much to do and see here that some say one day isn’t enough.
It’s a must-see for Lego fans of any age.
Our tip would be to arrive early at the park. Head straight for the rides when you get there to dodge the long queues and then go to the Legoland hotel for a bite to eat afterwards.
