This is the reason why Princess Charlotte’s kids won’t have royal titles

So we all know by now that Princess Charlotte is fourth in line to the throne. Even when her baby brother Louis was born, Charlotte remained in her spot thanks to a law passed in 2015. Before that, her younger brother would have over taken her as heir, just for being a boy. Rude. Anyway, the royal family have come a long way in breaking old tradition... but not far enough. I recently found out that if Princess Charlotte has children they won't be a Prince or Princess. Sad for them. According to Town & Country, there are only two ways you can become a British Princess or Prince. You need to be born the daughter of a Prince (or the British sovereign), or you have to marry one. So there might still be hope for me... Lucy Hume, associate director of Debrett's, spoke to Town & Country: "Royal titles are inherited through sons, so if Princess Charlotte has children they would not automatically inherit the titles 'HRH,' 'Prince,' or 'Princess.'" That's the reason why Prince Andrew's children are Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, but Princess Anne's kids are just Zara and Peter. However, if Charlotte ends up being Queen (maybe George won't want it) then her children would be Princes and Princesses.
