It is a truth widely acknowledged that trying to keep the place tidy when you have kids is the very definition of a Sisyphean task.

Cleaning the house takes hours; making it messy again takes them mere moments. Which is why one fellow mum's recent photo made us smile. Jessica Johnson Smith, who is based in North Carolina in the US, took to Facebook recently to share a snap of her kids' playroom. The picture shows soft toys, boxes, balls, and plastic accessories EVERYWHERE. And the accompanying caption certainly is spot on: "What's behind that closed door you ask? Nothing," stated Jessica. "The first rule of the playroom is we DON'T talk about the playroom." Unsurprisingly, the image has struck a chord with parents around the world - parents who also have to hide their own playrooms from sight!
