This Is Why Holly Willoughby Admits She Loves Giving Birth

I spent a big chunk of my first pregnancy worrying about giving birth, and remember looking at new mums pushing buggies down the street thinking: “Well, she survived it and she survived it and she survived it, so surely it mustn’t be that bad?”

And as it turns out, it really wasn’t.

So much so that I, like ten minutes after having given birth to my little girl, loudly declared that I would so be doing that again. And did. And still feel like I want to do it again (and again and again and again).

And it turns out I am not alone in my giving birth loving.

British TV presenter Holly Willoughby recently revealed that she also loves to give birth – despite the pain.

The gorgeous 35-year-old ‘This Morning’ presenter said women too often hear about “one side of the story” when it comes to having children.

“That’s not very helpful,” Willoughby told The Sun newspaper. “Lots of women really enjoy it and don’t get me wrong, there is pain, but it is pain in a different way.”

Willoughby, who is mum to Harry, seven, Belle, five, and 20-month-old Chester with her husband Dan Baldwin, explains: “I have never felt more alive than after I had given birth, and I don’t know what else compares to that.”

She also revealed how she would like a baby #4. ”

“I don’t want that area of my life to be over because it makes me sad to think I’d not be doing it again,”explains the TV presenter, who recently launched her first parenting book ‘Truly Happy Baby’.

According to Amazon, Willoughby’s book will encourage mums during their first 12 months of parenthood to “trust their natural instincts”.

Well, seeing as Holly is one of our all-time favourite celebrity mamas, we can’t wait to get our hands on this one!
