Dressing your bump for a special occasion can be tricky but it’s something that Aoibhín Garrihy always seems to pull off with ease.

The actress, who is expecting her first child, stepped out today in a look that serves as serious style inspiration for mums-to-be with a wedding or other big day out coming up over the summer.

Aoibhín wore a striking pink wrap style off-the-shoulder dress from Beauty and the Bump as she launched the Listowel Races in the Co Kerry town this morning.

She accessorised with the ultimate race day headpiece – an embroidered cerise hat by Margaret O’Connor.

The star, who is due to give birth this month, is set to judge the Ladies’ Day best-dressed competition at the racing festival in September.

She admitted recently that her husband John Burke, who became the first Clare man to submit Mount Everest last year, was “squeamish” about the birth.

“John is really squeamish about all this sort of stuff and said Everest will be easier,” she told The Mirror.

“We had a tour around the hospital recently and he was asking all these things like where is the exit and where can I get air.

“I don’t know how good he’ll be but we’ll see.”
