The interior shop EVERYONE is obsessed with right now is coming to Dublin

Is it November yet?

Trine Jensen-Burke

If you are in any way into interiors and a consumer of blogs or magazines to do with decor for your home, you will have no doubt come across the Brooklyn-based interiors retailer West Elm.

The store, which now has outlets across both the US, Australia and more recently also in London, is known for their modern and often mid-century-inspired designs, and is a major hit with design-bloggers across the globe.

Which won’t come as a surprise when you see what they have on offer.

We are especially obsessed with their gorgeous, sleek  furniture ranges (their wooden sideboards are ALL over every design blog right now) as well as the amazing collection of textiles and interior accessories, with something to suit every modern home.

West Elm is also impressive when it comes to their way of doing business, with a focus on minimising environmental impact and helping to better the lives of their workers around the globe through Fair Trade programs, and their LOCAL program, which is investing in local artists and designers.

And lucky for us, now we won’t have to settle for drooling over the goods online while mentally calculating how expensive having it shipped to Ireland would be.

This November, West Elm will open a 1,100 sq. ft. branded shop-in-shop on the second level in Arnotts, Dublin, simultaneously with a branded online shop at arnotts.ie.

When they open, West Elm will be bringing an assortment of over 90 different products with furniture and accessories for the living room, dining room and bedroom to their Dublin outpost, and the partnership With Arnotts marks West Elm’s second European wholesale venture following its launch with John Lewis a couple of years back.

This is what Ger Ryan, Arnotts Homewares Buying Director, had to say about the news:

“Arnotts is delighted to welcome West Elm to Ireland as their exclusive retail partner. We will be showcasing West Elm in our furniture department, adding to our already extensive array of international brands. West Elm is uniquely attuned to the way people want to live today and Arnotts also understands the diversity of customer needs. The West Elm offer will include furniture, textiles, accessories and more, in lifestyle settings to inspire the customer and help them envisage pieces in their home.”

According to West Elm president, Alex Bellos, the new Arnotts space will be the largest West Elm wholesale shop-in-shop to date – which we cannot be more excited to explore come November.
