Now that they are of big school age, some kids might want a desk for their room, and maybe some containers and desk accessories to help keep crayons, pencils and other school supplies neat and in order.
As kids get older, making sure they have storage solutions in their rooms that makes it easier to tidy up and keep their belongings organised is also a good idea. Boxes, baskets, hooks and small containers are ideal. In fact, studies have shown that kids are more inclined to play in a room that is tidy than one that is chaotic and messy.
