Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh has revealed Michelle Connor’s fate as her exit storyline nears.

The actress, who has been on the show for 13 years, confirmed earlier this year that she would be leaving the cobbles. And while she hasn’t filmed her final scenes yet, she admitted she will be “very emotional” when the time comes.

During a recent appearance on This Morning, Philip Schofield asked her about how she felt as she gets ready to leave the iconic Weatherfield resident behind.

Admitting that it would be “weird” to be leaving the soap, Kym confirmed that she knows when her exit scenes will be playing out.

“I do know, probably can’t say. But it’s soon, coming up very soon,” she said.

And with Corrie having killed off a number of characters over the last few months, Kym was asked about whether Michelle will be meeting a grisly fate – and, it looks like it’s good news.

“No,” Kym said. “The door is open so that’s good.”

It comes as Michelle is reportedly set for serious heartbreak over the Christmas season. The coming weeks will see her find out that her fiancé, Robert Preston, has been living a double-life and is also engaged to Vicky Jefferies.

However, despite this, filming photos obtained by The Sun seem to indicate that Michelle and Robert still end up saying ‘I do’.

And very early spoilers for the holiday season have suggested that the chef is going to be shot and killed on Christmas Day, as Derek Milligan tries to take revenge on Gary Windass.

It has been said that Derek gets drunk after his business relationship with Gary sours and, on Christmas Day, will bring a gun to the Rover’s Return.

The ensuing chaos will see Robert, played by Tristan Gemmill. fatally injured. Another Weatherfield resident will also be wounded in the fight

And while Robert will make it to the hospital, it’s been said that he will suffer a heart attack and die off screen.

Tristan announced earlier this year that he would be leaving the soap after four years.
