Skincare can be a bit of a minefield when it comes to knowing which step you should do when and how long you should wait before applying your next product.
You might have been leaving it until ages later, but you'll want to speed up your moisturising routine after hearing this advice.
A skincare expert has recommended that you should be putting on your moisturiser just three seconds after you clean your face or step out of the shower.
Charlotte Cho from Korean beauty site Soko Glam shared what she calls the 'Three-Second Moisturising Rule' and told
Allure that it's massive in Korea.
"It means you go straight into your skin-care routine a few seconds after washing up because damp skin is more receptive to topical actives when wet."
"Also, occlusives in your moisturizer can actually help seal in water that is on your skin."
So rather than waiting to dry off, keep your moisturiser within reach and lock in the moisture on your skin right away after cleansing.
