3 cool ways to prep a watermelon for little fingers

Planning a summer holidays play date or two? When it comes to snack time, the easiest way to get some healthy food into them is by picking a fun fruit and preparing it in an unusual way.

Watermelon is the perfect option for a number of reasons: the flavour isn’t overpowering, it’s full of water (a whopping 92 per cent!) to hydrate energetic visitors and each juicy bite has significant levels of vitamins A, B6 and C, lycopene, antioxidants and amino acids.
