Double congratulations are in order.
Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock has welcomed twins.
The singer announced the delightful news on her Instagram page this afternoon, writing: “We asked for a miracle, we were given two… Our Cubbies are here 16/08/21.”
Leigh-Anne and her footballer fiancé Andre Gray welcomed their twins earlier this month on August 16.
Announcing the news that she was pregnant earlier this year, Leigh-Anne said: “We’ve dreamed about this moment for so long and we can’t believe the dream is finally coming true… we can’t wait to meet you.”
Bandmate Perrie Edwards also announced that she had welcomed her first child over the weekend.
Gray proposed to Pinnock last year on their fourth anniversary. The pair announced their engagement last May.
Leigh-Anne shot to fame on X Factor when she joined Little Mix alongside fellow band members Perrie and Jade Thirlwall.
Perrie and Leigh-Anne had revealed that although they hadn’t planned to start families at the same time, they were both delighted when it happened that way.
“We were on a work Zoom and we were chatting about things that were coming up in our schedule because in Little Mix we are blocked out two years in advance,” Perrie said earlier this year.
“I was thinking, ‘I won’t be able to do that’. I messaged my manager and she called me and said, ‘You’re pregnant’. Then she said: ‘Can I add someone to the call?’
