Lucy Watson revealed she was expecting her first child this week.
Made In Chelsea’s Lucy Watson has bravely opened up about her struggle to get pregnant with her ‘miracle’ baby.
The former reality star said it was an incredibly “lonely and depressing” time for her.
She explained to her followers that she faced many struggles when she was trying to conceive. She said it was an extremely “consuming” experience for her.
“A lot of people asking this. I genuinely believe every baby is a miracle, but yes we did have our struggles,” she said.
“I think we went into it like most, thinking it would happen easily. It was definitely not the case for us,” Lucy said.
Lucy said there was a time when it felt like she was getting nothing but bad news, but she finally got the news she was hoping for.
“There were times when it felt like bad news after bad news, it was never-ending and the light at the end of the tunnel felt faint,” she said.
“We have seen many specialists over the last few years and there were times when I wasn’t sure if this could ever happen for us,” she said.
“We know there are people out there who have it way worse and for everyone struggling, I see you & I feel your pain,” she said.
“It can be a very lonely & depressing time,” the mum-to-be said.
Lucy and her husband James Dunmore confirmed she was pregnant with their miracle child this week.
Alongside a photo of the couple on Instagram, they confirmed Lucy’s pregnant. She has not yet confirmed her due date, but said she’s expecting a Pisces baby, meaning they’ll be born in springtime.
