Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse has revealed her family is unable to leave Ukraine.
Mabuse is married to Ukrainian dancer Evgenij Voznyuk.
The professional dancer said her husband’s parents have no way of getting out of the country.
As citizens flea, Mabuse’s parents-in-law remain stuck, with no way out.
She expressed her heartache on Twitter as she watched the horror unfold like the rest of the world.
The dancer said she is still able to talk to her mother-in-law on the phone but it hasn’t been easy.
She wrote: “It’s heartbreaking hearing my mother-in-law crying this morning.

“She is afraid and there absolutely nothing we can do! Just sad honestly,” she added.
“This cannot be happening,” she said in disbelief.
Mabuse then tweeted that both her mother and father-in-law have no possibility of getting to the Polish border.
“Our parents have been told to go outside and to switch off water and gas,” she revealed.
Russia invaded Ukraine in the early hours of the morning on February 24th.
Loud explosions rattled Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv early on Friday morning as the second day of Russia’s attack began with a barrage of missiles.
Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba compared the horror to the 1941 attack from Nazi Germany.
He said: “Ukraine defeated that evil and will defeat this one. Stop Putin. Isolate Russia. Severe all ties. Kick Russia out of (everywhere).”
