Ferne McCann filmed the birth of her baby Finty and now she plans to do it again.
The TOWIE star filmed the arrival of her baby girl for her TV show Ferne McCann: First Time Mum and got such a positive reaction she wants to try it once more.
Though she admitted during her first experience that not everything went to plan and she went back and forth on whether or not to follow through, she wants to show how “beautiful and positive” the process can be.
Speaking to OK! Magazine she said: “I’d 100 percent live stream my next birth. I just feel so passionate about sharing how beautiful and positive birth can be. You can be in control.
“I don’t want to come across as smug, or for people to think, ‘It’s alright for her.’ But in the same breath, I don’t want to not tell my story because of the fear that people might think that way of me.”
Though her life might seem perfect on our TV screens, Ferne’s at-home water birth wasn’t exactly what she expected it to be but she still found it to be an exciting experience.
The reality star’s fiancé, Lorri Haines – who was right by her side as she welcomed their daughter to the world – called his other half a “warrior” and that she made the whole thing look “easy”.
The couple decided to name their little girl Finty Francis Haines-McCann and they revealed the special meaning behind their unusual choice.
Ferne said that the name Finty has been on her baby name list since she was pregnant with her first born daughter, Sunday.
The TV star explained that she doesn’t know where she got the name from but when she searched for it online she found that it is Judi Dench’s daughter’s nickname and felt “connected” to it.
