Clarissa Greenfield penned an adorable letter to her grandmother which has been going viral worldwide in recent days.
The four-year-old, who lives in Derbyshire, found out her nana was ill and decided she wanted to do something special for her and thankfully, it had the desired result.
Clarissa wrote a note with the words ‘Dear Granny, my love for you is so big it reaches…. ’, hoping that people would fill in the blank space and that way, the letter would be picked up far and wide.
According to The Daily Mail, Clarissa’s letter has proved very popular with people responding from South Africa, Canada, New Zealand, Russia and Australia to name but a few.

The letter was signed off with ‘lots of love Clarissa’ and people have been touched by the caring gesture from the little girl.
Denise Mansfield, Clarissa’s grandmother, has had two brain aneurysms in the last three years and as a result, she has limited movement on one side of her body.
The hope is to collect all the images and put them into a scrapbook which will be presented to Denise and we can only imagine how moved she will be by her adorable grandaughter’s thoughtfulness.
