Doctor warns women not to follow Kourtney Kardashian’s fertility advice

Kourtney and Travis are hoping to have a baby together.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney and Travis are seen trying multiple methods to boost fertility.

The couple, who got married last weekend, have been trying for a baby for months.

They recently tried the Panchakarma cleanse to help their fertility rates.

The couple gave up exercise and sex during the cleanse. They also couldn’t drink alcohol or coffee.

During a meeting with their doctor, Kourtney revealed she was told to drink Travis’s semen four times a week.

A doctor reportedly told her it would help boost their fertility rates.

However, medical experts have urged women not to try this.

She said, “The thing that would help it was drinking [Travis’s semen], like, four times a week.”

Travis quipped, “I love this doctor,” after Kourtney revealed their advice.

The reality star has tried vaginal steaming, enemas, steam baths, and induced vomiting. Her Ayurvedic expert made the suggestions.

Doctors have debunked the suggestion. They’ve urged women not to try this if they’re trying to conceive.

A fertility expert told Metro:

“In the last 30 years of working in fertility and gynecology, I have read no mainstream research that has advocated the drinking of sperm to be useful in helping with pregnancy.”

Doctors have advised women to take supplements if they’re trying for a baby.

Dr. James Hopkisson added, “All women should be on Folic acid and Vitamin D to minimise the risks of spina bifida and rickets.”

Kourtney and Travis have a blended family. Kourtney has three children with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.

Travis is a father to Landan (18), Alabama (16), and is a stepfather to Atiana (23).
