So thoughtful.

Losing things when you’re heading away on your holidays is a nightmare. Losing your child’s teddy is even worse.

Luckily, the lads over at the new Premier Inn hotel in London’s Heathrow Terminal 4 have come up with a foolproof way to stop your little one’s fluffy toys from being mislaid.

A new teddy check-in service lets kids check their teddies into the hotel upon arrival.

This means that all family members will be accounted for while staying in the hotel – a great way to make sure that no one gets lost during their stay.

The teddy will receive its own check-in card, so its family always has a constant reminder that teddy is staying in the hotel too.

The Premier Inn made their decision after they surveyed a lot of children and found that 72 percent of them have left their teddy behind in a hotel before.

According to hotel spokesperson Emily Frank, team members in Premier Inns across the world find upwards of 3,000 teddies in hotel rooms every month.

That’s a lot of missing plush toys.

Frank said that the most common places teddies are recovered are underneath or in hotel beds.

“Our Teddy Check-in service will help ensure no more fluffy family members gets left behind again.

Team members at Premier Inn hotels have been reuniting lost teddies with their owners for years, sending these fluffy friends as far as France, Spain, Sweden and even New Zealand.”
