Yes, it's a nest swing and it looks amazing.
My son loves these at the playground and there's usually a swarm of kids waiting to have a go on it.
I think part of its popularity is that it can be used by kids of all ages, even toddlers. There's also more protection against falling than with a traditional swing.
My little guy was at the park recently and threw himself too far back when on a regular swing. He came flying off and the heart went crossways in me...I much prefer when he uses the nest swings.
They're designed with the Irish weather in mind, which is great because the last thing you want to have to do is bring it in and out every time your child wants to use it.
The big question that all parents dread, is it easy to assemble? Short answer yes, it comes with a really straightforward 'step by step' guide so you can't go wrong.
It's padded and comes in a vibrant blue and green shade that works for both genders, which is great if you have boys and/or girls. It's also suitable for three years and up so just about everyone in the family can use it.
Now to see if I can have a sneaky go of it myself when the kids are in bed.
The nest swing will be available in Aldi stores nationwide from this Sunday 20 May for €34.99, just in time for the summer holidays.Explore more on these topics:
