Donuts are the latest food craze and it seems that people are going to be spoilt for choice with yet another place opening in Dublin.
The Rolling Donut has opened a flagship store on Bachelors Walk today which offers a variety of hand-crafted, sourdough donuts.

Their menu of filled gourmet donuts includes the following (get ready to drool):
- ‘Peanut Berry Delight’ – a rich peanut butter filling topped with a sweet mixed berry compote and finished with a sprinkle of toasted peanuts.
- ‘Baileys Bliss’ – a Baileys-infused cream filling paired with a rich vanilla glaze.
- ‘Pistachio Salted Caramel’ – a luxurious homemade salted caramel with a sprinkle of pistachio for some extra bite.
- ‘The Dub’ – a rich chocolate ganache combined with a smooth and creamy vanilla custard filling.
The Rolling Donut, founded almost 40 years ago by Michael Quinlan, is a family-run business which also operates out of a kiosk on O’Connell Street.
Both of his daughters, Lisa and Aimee, now work in the business. Lisa explained: “We are so excited to launch our flagship store and to introduce a brand new, carefully curated donut menu to customers.
“As a family, we’ve spent years experimenting, getting inspiration from the best donut shops in London and New York and perfecting our recipe, so we are thrilled to now be able to give customers a fresh taste of what makes The Rolling Donut so great.”
