Eva is in a panic when she realises what has happened.
Coronation Street’s Eva Price is soon going to find herself facing every mum’s worst nightmare after her baby daughter, Susie, is kidnapped.
Her grandad, Johnny Connor, has been locked in a custody battle with Eva – but, after they fail to reach an agreement, he decides to take drastic action and takes her out of her crib.
Meanwhile, Eva is thrown into a panic when she wakes up at The Rovers and notices her daughter is missing – immediately pointing the finger at Toyah.
But when she turns up without the infant, suspicion soon moves to Johnny.
It is soon revealed that he is hiding out in a hotel with Susie, seeing it as the only chance he will ever have to bring her up.
He starts to struggle, though, as he has forgotten to pack his MS medication before he left – and decided to ring Liz, the only person he can trust, for help.
Johnny convinces her to see him at the hotel, and Liz begs him to take Susie home – but he stubbornly refuses to listen.
At the hotel, he tells her about his plan to go on the run to Spain with Susie…and he wants her to come with him.
