It was hard to miss.

EastEnders fans were left fuming last night after Lorna Fitzgerald was missing from the year’s credits – for the second year in a row.

The actress, who played Abi Branning, left the soap in January 2018 after her character fell off the roof of the Queen Vic on Christmas Day.

While she didn’t have any lines, she was still seen on-screen until Abi’s life support was switched off in January.

So, when EastEnders did their annual New Year’s Eve credits – a list of their entire cast for the year – fans were annoyed to find her missing from the list. Again.

One viewer pointed out the error as they shared a screenshot of the credits on Twitter.

They said:

“#EastEnders @bbceastenders any reason why you missed Lorna out the credits again?”

Another fan added that it was “cruel” Lorna was missing for a second year in a row.

However, some social media users pointed out that Lorna may not have been included due to the fact that her character didn’t have any lines. Others reckoned that it was because she would have finished filming her scenes in 2017, as the show is filmed weeks in advance.

Harry Reid, who played Ben Mitchell, also did not appear in the credits – despite exiting the series mid-January 2018.
