Kildare beauty salon launches ‘Brows for Barnardos’ and you can help

Melissa Carton

The staff at this Kildare beauty salon are using their brow skills to raise money for Barnardos.

Aviary Beauty and Hair, located in Newbridge, has just launched a new campaign called Brows for Barnardos.

The campaign hopes to raise much-needed funds for one of the country’s largest children’s charities.

Launched on June 8, Brows for Barnardos will run until June 18 with 20 per cent of the cost of all brows going directly to the organisation.

Not content with just getting our brows on fleek for a good cause, Aviary is also getting our hair festival ready.

Braids for Barnardos is another treatment available with dry style bar plaits for only €12.

Once again, 20 per cent of the price of each style will go to helping Barnardos provide essential services for children across Ireland.

The Barnardos organisation aims to support vulnerable children and young people through a number of services.

These services include breakfast clubs, bereavement counselling for children who have lost a parent or guardian and supports for teen parents.

If you’re lucky enough to live near Aviary pop in within the next two weeks and get gorgeous while doing your part for Barnardos.

If like myself you’re too far away you can donate to the charity directly or take part in their upcoming Big Toddle event.
