Vogue and Spencer will honour a late family member with their son's baby name

Spencer Matthews has hinted at what he and fiancée Vogue Williams will name their unborn baby.

The couple, who are expecting a boy later this year, want to pay tribute to a family member who has passed away.

Spencer appeared on Loose Women today and said he and Vogue had a few names in mind for their upcoming arrival.

The baby could be named Freddie after Vogue’s late father who died in 2010 after suffering a stroke.

The couple might also go with the name Michael as a nod to Spencer’s older brother.

Michael Matthews died in 1999 aged 22 during an attempt to become the youngest British person ever to summit Mount Everest.

Sadly, his body was never recovered off the mountain.

“We’ve known it was a boy for so long now that obviously we have thought of names and we do have a few favourites,” said Spencer.

“I just don’t know how much she’d be happy with me revealing.”

“I don’t think it has to be a secret that my brother passed away and so did her father, and we’d like to incorporate their names into our child’s name somehow, and we have a few frontrunners, but we’re not 100 per cent.”

Meanwhile, Vogue has revealed that her struggle with anxiety has returned since becoming pregnant.

“I don’t know why I have it – it’s just general life anxiety. If I knew what it was about, that would be the first step in getting rid of it.

“But exercise keeps that in check and makes you feel better about yourself. It’s more under control now than it has been in the past.”
