‘She’s normalising normal bodies.’

It has been just a few weeks since Kylie Jenner welcomed her little boy into the world. And the 24-year-old makeup mogul and reality star has been candid with her fans that this time around, her recovery and post-partum period has been tougher than when she gave birth to her first child, Stormi, four years ago.

Taking to Instagram, Jenner revealed a couple of weeks ago:

“Postpartum has not been easy. It’s not been easy. It’s very hard.”

She added:

“This experience, for me personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter.

“It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually.”

Fans were quick to applaud Kylie for her honesty. Recovering from pregnancy and childbirth is hard – and if it can help other mothers feel more able to ask for help or be honest about their own experience, then having someone like Kylie Jenner speak so openly about her own struggles, well, that it pretty great.

And now Kylie has gone even further, and shared a picture of her natural, post-partum tummy in an unfiltered social media post, and taking to Reddit, followers complimented Jenner for sharing a picture of her tummy.

The adorable black and white photo reveals her newborn son’s bare feet as she balanced him on her naked stomach.

Commenting on the post, one follower wrote:

“As a mommy, I love the rawness of this picture. The stretched skin, the postpartum tummy, the little extra weight. I just love it.”

Another chimed in:

“I love that she posted this. Normalizing normal bodies.”

More and more women were keen to share just how much they loved Jenner for sharing this picture:

“For women who have such big platforms, this is the type of content we need from them! I love this so much!”

After initially naming her son Wolf, Jenner took to Instagram earlier this week to admit she and partner Travis never really warmed to the name, and that their son is now called something else.
