The video's success certainly says something about society currently, basically that we have WAY too much time on our hands.

As totally irrelevant as the clip may at first appear this writer prefers to consider it a elegant allegory for the human condition – we are all just cats in a catmaze. At least this is my justification for watching it three times. Also it is strangely hypnotic just ask the other 1,059,279 who've watched it so far.
