Ireland football captain Seamus Coleman and his wife Rachel have reportedly welcomed their second child together.
The 29-year-old is said to have confirmed the news on social media earlier this week.
According to the Donegal Democrat, he posted:
“My girls! What an amazing day – our amazing baby girl Ellie Coleman born at 7.25 am weighing a healthy 7lb 4.5 ozs. My wife Rachel is just simply amazing.”
The couple have been flooded with well wishes from fans and loved ones since the announcement was made.

The childhood sweethearts are already parents to a little girl named Lily, whom they welcomed almost two years ago.
It comes as the Killybegs native shared how the toddler brought a smile to his face the morning after he broke his leg in Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Wales in March.
He recalled how he had been waiting for his prognosis in St Vincent’s Hospital, according to DonegalWoman.ie, when is daughter took her first steps.
He said:
“I was waiting and waiting and waiting on Lily to start walking as I just wanted to take her to parks and all the rest.
“I broke my leg against Wales at the Aviva and the next Lily walked into the hospital. That’s as true as God.
“There I was sitting on the hospital bed and she jumps up on top of me.”
