The trailer for Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget (is that not the best name ever?) has been released and, honestly, December cannot come quickly enough.
After 23 years, we will be reunited with Ginger (voiced by Thandiwe Newton) and the whole flock and pick up following their successful escape from Tweedy’s farm, where they are living in a peaceful island sanctuary.
However, back on the mainland, the entire fate of chicken-kind is in danger, prompting Ginger and the gang to assemble, break in, and do what they do best.
The trailer shows the entire flock being just as resourceful, funny, and brave as they’ve always been, and how they are willing to give up their hard-earned freedom to rise up against the human world to protect chickens everywhere.
Dawn of the Nugget will hit Netflix on December 15th – perfect timing for Christmas Day viewing with the family.
The Chicken Run franchise and its characters have, in the past, even been received well by both children and adults, making it the perfect family movie.
The cast features well-known names such as Bella Ramsey, Zachary Levi, Imelda Staunton, Romesh Ranganathan, David Bradley, and Nick Mohammed, as well as many more.
