The three moves that hold the key to the female orgasm

It has been known as the 'golden trio.'

How to have a blended orgasm, both alone and with a partner

Science, ladies and gentlemen.

Studies have proven that it is possible for some women to find it easier to orgasm than others and this can be down to the size and shape of a woman’s vagina.

We know that ‘the migration of the clitoris’ during sex – the closer it gets up towards the vaginal wall – makes an orgasm more likely but how can we better our chances even more.

Well according to research, a ‘golden trio’ of sex moves designed to increase the chances of a woman reaching an orgasm has been discovered.

Researchers from Chapman University, Indiana University and the Kinsey Institute examined over 52,000 Americans of different genders and sexual orientations to look into how often people orgasm.

Participants in the study were aged between 18 and 65 and findings showed that in order for a woman to orgasm in the bedroom, three things needed to be present:

  • Genital stimulation
  • Deep kissing
  • Oral sex

The study’s co-author, Elisabeth Lloyd has also written a book called The Case of the Female Orgasm, so she knows a thing or two more on the subject than we would…

“About 30 per cent of men actually think that intercourse is the best way for women to have orgasm, and that is sort of a tragic figure because it couldn’t be more incorrect,” she said before adding that “to say that there needs to be some education I think is an understatement.”

The ‘golden trio’ has been said to be a major help in reaching climax but Lloyd admits that what might work for 90 per cent of women could have no influence at all on the other 10 per cent.

“Women really are tremendously variable in how readily they orgasm and what makes one woman orgasm can be quite different than what makes another woman orgasm.”
