Happy birthday, Prince George!
The British royal is now aged four – and his just-released official royal portrait to mark the occasion shows him as a proper little man.
In the snap, the Cambridges’ eldest can be seen smiling warming to the camera; his gorgeous gap-toothed grin in full view. George is also wearing a blue and white striped shirt by Amaia, a brand he and his sister, Charlotte, have worn previously. Needless-to-say, it’s now sold out.

And while last year for his third birthday, proud-mum the Duchess of Cambridge took his official portrait photograph, this year that honour went royal photographer Chris Jackson.
As the image was released publicly, Chris said on Twitter: “I’m honoured that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to release this portrait I took to celebrate Prince George’s 4th Birthday.”

The photo was taken at the royals’ home, Kensington Palace, at the end of June.
The Palace stated that William and Kate “are very pleased to share this lovely picture, and would like to thank everyone for all of the kind messages they have received”.
