Minnesota couple, Jessica Baker and her husband were getting ready to go a friend’s wedding when their childcare fell through.

Her kids were not allowed to attend the ceremony or dinner so the Bakers were unable to attend the wedding. A couple of weeks later Jessica received a bill from the bride for $75 to cover the cost of the wedding meal listed as a herb crusted walleye and including service and tax charges.

“You have got to be kidding me,” the outraged mother told news channel Kare 11 of her reaction to the bill which also came with an admonishing note attached.

note

The missive has the sniffy tone of a bride that has been wronged:

“This cost reflects the amount paid by the bride and groom for meals that were RSVP’d for, reimbursement and explanation for no show, card, call or text would be appreciated.”

When planning a wedding most couples are advised to allow for a fall off in guest numbers – usually around 10 per cent. Brides should also be advised to expect a fall off in friends (usually around 10 per cent) as a a result of their outlandish behaviour. When attending a wedding, guests should be advised that brides can be kind of cray cray.

What do you think? Bride be crazy or is she right? If you RSVP, had you better pay UP…?
