Lisa Cannon welcomed her baby girl into the world in January
Lisa Cannon surprised her followers after announcing the birth of her beautiful baby girl this week.
The new mum kept her daughter’s arrival under wraps until making the adorable announcement on Valentine’s Day.
The TV presenter confirmed her daughter was born on January 22nd at the National Maternity Hospital.
Lisa shared the cutest photos of her newborn daughter to reveal the incredible news.
She also revealed her baby girl’s adorable name in her Instagram post and the meaning behind it is pretty special.
Lisa decided to call her little girl Seren and the moniker has a very touching origin.
The name Seren is of Welsh origin and means ‘star’.
Lisa explained the reason why she chose the beautiful name.
“‘Seren’ is the Welsh word for a Star & she certainly is the brightest star in the firmament. Laura is in honour of my beautiful mother; a proud and noble name.
“Seren came like a comet blazing her trail into this world she knew exactly how to make her Birthday Unforgettable & Serendipitous! I’ll spend my life loving her & being grateful for it,” the new mum added.
The name Seren may not be common but it has instantly gone on our baby name lists. Everything about it is just so sweet and strong, making it the perfect name for a little girl.
“We love you infinitely…. Let our magical adventures begin Seren,” Lisa wrote on Instagram.
