Is Mamma Mia 3 finally in the works?
It looks like the cast of Mamma Mia could be reuniting for another movie. Rumours of a third film have been circulating for quite some time, and lead star Pierce Brosnan has finally given fans the update they've been waiting for.
During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Brosnan said he would love to reprise his role in the musical.
He told host Kelly Clarkson that starring in Mamma Mia was a "game changer" for him.
Brosnan said he was nervous when he was originally cast in the film because he had never sung in a film before.
"But this movie really was a game changer, and it's easy to fall in love with Meryl, and it's easy to fall in love with every member of the cast, truly."

He added, "It was criminal how much fun we had because everybody brought their wives, their girlfriends, their boyfriends so it all became a family."
He also confirmed that the cast is discussing a third installment.
"We rehearsed for about five weeks, everyone got on extremely well together - maybe Mamma Mia 3 – we're talking about it."
Film producer Judy Craymer recently told
Deadline that she believes a trilogy could work. She believes she has a perfect plot for a third movie, but it is in the early stages of development.
