The 9-month-old already has a Vogue cover under her belt.
Naomi Campbell has revealed her baby daughter is biologically her child as she opened up about becoming a mother for the first time at 50.
The 51-year-old fashion icon graced the cover of British Vogue’s March 2022 issue with the 9-month-old in her arms, admitting that she had always planned to one day become a mum and she is open to having more children.
Naomi announced the little one’s arrival back in May, revealing few details about the child or her path to parenthood.
Though she’s still keeping that journey and her daughter’s name quiet for now, she did share some new details with the publication.
“She wasn’t adopted – she’s my child,” the supermodel confirmed, adding that very few people knew about the baby ahead of her arrival.
“I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her. But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
The model gave an insight into her baby girl’s personality, describing how she’s a “good girl”.
“She sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I’m told she’s very alert for her age. She’s just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She’s almost talking,” she shared.
“I think she might walk before she crawls. And she’s got six teeth already,” she said, adding that she’s been a “trooper” throughout teething.
Sounds like a model baby. Who also just happens to be a model’s baby. And if the Vogue cover is anything to go by, a baby model.
“She has a really nice closet thanks to so many designers and friends who have sent her some lovely things, but wow, kids grow fast, don’t they?” Naomi revealed.

Luckily for the mum-of-one, her daughter is content travelling and is able to go everywhere with her, which suits her jet-setting lifestyle and stops the pair from being separated – something Naomi doesn’t take for granted.
“I always knew that one day I would be a mother, but it’s the biggest joy I could ever imagine. I’m lucky to have her and I know that,” she said.
Naomi has also been encouraging her older friends who are considering starting a family to just “do it!” without hesitation, explaining that children open up a whole new world for adults.
“I’m like a kid again. I’m reliving nursery rhymes, playing and discovering how many great new toys there are out there in the world! And dolls! Things I couldn’t even dream of,” she shared.
When asked what the biggest surprise of new motherhood has been, the icon answered: “My daughter comes first. Everything I do, I do for her – that’s it. It’s so completely selfless, isn’t it?”
