Santa Claus is coming to town!

Christmas is just around the corner, and the elves at The Square Tallaght have been snowed under preparing a spectacular family experience that The Square has become so well known for!

Think explosions of colour with fun around every corner and a great value Christmas family day out in Dublin!

Sunday 21st November sees the return of Santa’s Grotto at The Square and an eventful day of celebrations to launch their 2021 festive experience.

Visit Santa in his colourful cartoon grotto on level 3, with added safety measures and a new pre-booking system to complete your magical day out.

While you’re there you can also take part in the Adventure Trail – The brand-new Adventure Trail is a festive journey full of magic moments for the whole family.

Pick up a map from Santa’s North Pole Post Office, tick off the challenges and capture lots of sElfies on your way!

Highlights include the Candy Cane Swing, Hop Scotch Lane and Santa’s Sleigh! A €2 donation to The Square’s children’s charity partner Barnardos can be made when picking up a map, with completed trail maps entered into a draw to win a €250 The Square Gift Card!


If that was enough there will also be a Panoramic Ferris Wheel and Kids Festive Funfair – The massive 35m Panoramic Ferris Wheel (dubbed the “Tallaght eye”!) returns!

Sparkling in the sky with views across Dublin city and mountains -the big wheel is a huge hit and is this year joined by added funfair rides for the little ones! Featuring new Candy Cane Trampoline and a Festive Spin Zone, with firm favourites Sea Storm and the classic Merry Go Round- the outdoor experience on level 3 is not to be missed.

The Square is easily accessible with four car parks and is located on the Red LUAS line as well multiple bus routes.
