If there’s one thing you should probably never, ever do it’s pit mums against one another.

It’s tough enough out here without us picking on other parents and their choices but that’s exactly what one prominent mum blogger has done in a post that’s just gone viral.

Lori Alexander, who shares her parenting insights on her blog The Transformed Wife, hold some pretty conservative views.

She doesn’t believe that a woman should work outside of the home and summed up her reasoning in a flow chart which she shared on her Facebook page last week.

It states that women who work feed their kids microwaved or fast food as opposed to healthy dinners, spend the weekend catching up on housework instead of spending time with their families and don’t have time for intimacy with their partners.

All of this, she says, means they feel like they’re not good mothers or wives.

Needless to say, the chart has sparked a lot of controversy online, garnering over 2,000 comments in just over a week.

Many of the working mums who responded said that they felt rewarded by working and raising kids.

“Actually I feel like a TERRIFIC wife and mother because I am showing my children that hard work and determination are key factors to a fulfilling life,” wrote one.

“I am a stay at home mom! But let me tell you… my life reads as a “working” mom. Don’t belittle working moms and make them feel less!” said another.

We’d have to second that sentiment. We’re just going to roll our eyes and move on.
