Mornings are a crazy time in every house, especially when you’ve lunchboxes to fill.

If like us, you end up eating the same lunch as your little ones to save time, then why not make something you’d all enjoy.

So, we’re saying goodbye to ham sandwiches and trying something a little different.

Here are five options we’re sure you and your kids will enjoy.

Quesadillas

A slight variation to the classic sandwich, this tasty option require a sandwich press but it’s totally worth it. Pick whatever toppings you’d like but make sure there’s cheese in there – just because.

Noodle salad

In other words, cold leftovers. Not at all a cop-out, this yummy salad is the perfect lunchtime snack. Double up on your portions the night before and enjoy the extra time in bed in the morning.

Brunch

We’re talking yogurt, berries and mini pancakes. The ultimate sweet treat – this lunch is easy to make and is sure to keep everyone happy.

Pesto Pasta

It doesn’t get much easier than this yummy treat. Bit of pasta, bit of pesto, lots of taste. For more taste, try adding some bacon and broccoli.

Egg muffins

Using the same ingredients you’d use for an omelet, pour them into a muffin tray and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. A sprinkle of cheese over the top, and you’re ready to go.
