This is what to ask for the next time you’re in McDonald’s so you get a super fresh meal

Olivia Hayes

We all love a McDonald’s every now and again.

The kids absolutely plead with us to get one, and to be fair, we don’t mind digging into one ourselves from time to time.

However, you always want to make sure you’re getting the freshest food possible, so next time you’re ordering one there’s a few things you should look out for.

According to The Sun, an McDonald’s employee has revealed what you should avoid ordering, as well as how to get the best service.

A crew member from Essex told the publication:

“I would never get anything with ice in it. It’s not the water that is used to make the ice.

“It is the machine. It just isn’t cleaned as often as it should be.”

OK, ew.

If you want your chips to be super fresh, then the trick is to ask for them without salt.

“Order your chips without any salt because then we have to make a fresh batch of fries.

“We also have to clean out the tray that the fries are stored in to make sure no salt gets on them.”

As for burgers and nuggets? Your best bet to get them fresh is to order them when the menu changes – which is 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 5pm and 7pm.

There you have it. All the tips and tricks you need for super fresh McDonald’s food.
