A popular children’s toy sold in Ireland has been recalled due to a choking hazard.
Jouets Ecoiffier’s ‘abrick ecoiffier discovery table’ has had to be recalled because of a small part present on the activity table.
The discovery table had been sold in Ireland by Heatons and Brandmax, with 210 of the products bought both in stores and online.
A statement by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission reads:
“The safety concern is that due to a small part, there is a potential choking hazard. This product has been sold by retailers Heatons and Brandmax in the ROI.
“Consumers who are in possession of this product should return it to the shop where you purchased it from and a full refund or credit note will be offered.”
If the product was purchased online, buyers should follow the onsite process for contacting the retailer or reach out to customer services directly for further information.
The recall affects products with reference number 7764.
