New shows coming to Netflix perfect for some family time this weekend

Looking for something new to watch this bank holiday weekend?

I think most of us associate the weekends growing up with Saturday morning cartoons and I know my kids are exactly the same. First thing Saturday morning they’re straight down the stairs to watch their best-loved shows.

If they’ve already gotten through all their favourite picks don’t worry as Netflix has a whole host of new series arriving on their site this weekend and there’s something for kids of all ages.

Juniors:

LEGO Friends: Girls on a Mission: Season 2
Olivia, Andrea, Emma Mia and Stephanie are Five best friends who put their teamwork, wits and courage to the test when they take on a mission to protect Heartlake City from some bad people.

Ask the StoryBots: Season 3
The StoryBots are standing by to field more questions from curious kids — from “Why do people look different?” to “Where does chocolate come from?”

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Season 3
Catra and Adora journey to the Crimson Waste, looking for redemption and answers, while Hordak’s portal research puts Etheria’s very reality at risk.

Older kids:

No Good Nick: Part two
No Good Nick follows 13-year-old Nick, short for Nicole, who infiltrates a family with the intention to get revenge on them for unknowingly ruining her life. As she gets to know the family, she will find compassion for them and will struggle with whether or not she can ultimately go through with the plan.

Steps away from being exposed as an impostor, Nick works harder, faster and smarter to right the Thompsons’ wrongs and spring her father out of jail.
