Always on the hunt for little arts and crafts projects you can get the kids involved in that doesn’t require too much mess and potential DIY disasters?
Yeah, me too.
Which is why these incredibly-easy-to make little tins caught my eye – perfect to display all those lovely summer blooms my little girl keeps coming home with for me, or just as brilliant as a little present for someone.
what you need
clean cans
oil based white paint
matte water based craft paint in various colors
paintbrush
what you do
Start by giving the cans a coat of oil based paint. This makes a good foundation so the other coat will not chip off.
Paint 2 or 3 coats with regular water based craft paint.
Allow to dry completely.
